One appreciated advantage of The Villas at Cocoplum is the easy access. Direct flights are available from many major cities in the United States and more are being added. Belize international airport is currently expanding the runways so to accommodate direct flights from Europe. The improvements are scheduled to be completed by summer of 2007. Negotiations are under way for direct service from United Kingdom, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, France, Spain Italy and Canada.

We will also be offering the only helicopter service to the Placencia Peninsula. A heliport will be constructed in the Cocoplum Development. Chartered Helicopter service to/ from the international airport and for sight seeing excursions will be available utilizing 2 very modern BELL helicopters.

So how does one visit The Villas at Cocoplum? Simply follow these steps!

  1. Book a flight to Belize (Belize City, International Airport)
  2. Once you land at the International Airport you will have 3 options available to you; utilize a local airline for the 25 minute flight to Placencia, rent a car and drive the amazing 3-4 hours to Placencia or charter a helicopter with Astrum Helicopters. www.astrumhelicopters.com
  3. If you choose to fly, then reserve a flight with one of the local airlines when you make your international flight. The two local airlines are Tropic Air and Maya Island Air. Roundtrip flights cost around US$161. We suggest you sit on the left side of the plane so that when you approach Placencia you are rewarded with a spectacular view of the entire Placencia Peninsula and The Villas at Cocoplum.   4. If you desire to drive the most scenic drive in all of Belize, then simply reserve a car at one of the major international rental agencies available at the international airport. The drive is simple, un-congested and an excellent means to experience the stunning natural beauty of Belize. If you have the time, be sure to stop at the various National Parks, Reserves, and Belize Zoo on the way.
  5. Once you land in Placencia your hotel will be more than happy to pick you up. Once The Villas at Cocoplum is operating, we will have our free shuttle service gladly pick you up for the 10 minute drive to Paradise. Just contact us anytime before your arrival and we will get your home ready for your visit and will arrange a welcoming pick up. Hotel of choice is www.robertsgrove.com or www.westwindhotel.com
  6. Once in Placencia you can hire a cab, ride a bike or have your hotel take you to the Cocoplum development. The Villas at Cocoplum will be on the very southern end of the Cocoplum development and specifically located between the Main Peninsulas road and the Caribbean beach. The actual entrance to The Villas at Cocoplum will be located inside the main Cocoplum entrance on the beach side. Once you pass the entrance station, take your first right which will be the entrance road to Paradise! The sales office is located along the main Peninsula road.
