Flying to Belize

Most people will fly to Belize via the USA yet other options exist. Direct flights from Europe are scheduled for 2008/2009. Take any major airline to Belize City, Belize (international airport). Once in the International Airport you take one of 2 local airlines for the 30 – 45 minute flight to Placencia. One hour is plenty of time between landing in Belize to departing on your local flight. Go to Maya Island Air (www.mayaislandair.com) or Tropic Air (www.tropicair.com) to book your local flight. You can pay in advance or simply pay once you arrive. Cost for roundtrip is approximately $US 163. The Villas at Cocoplum is located just 10 minutes from the Placencia airport and we will be excited to pick you up!
